Everything is like molded, or shaped weird. Why is it so hard to obtain two flat, square pieces of rubber?
Now there are some repro SAAB mud flaps, but at $120, I’m a little (lot) put off on the price. Otherwise, the closest I’ve found are various Land Rover flaps, but these are all much wider than needed.

Edit: doesn’t refer to mud flaps as much as the original. Apologies.

Buy a roll of heavy duty rubber & cut your own.

Yeah, I saw those, but was hoping to find something rubber instead of plastic. If not, those are likely what I’m getting.

Yeah it is hard to find. I was looking for datsun rally car types for my friend and he made his own with rubber.

Any autoparts stores have them? Canadian Tire sold some plain flat ones with different sizes and mounting holes when I worked there.
Also, easy title joke: why the hell would a plane need mudflaps?

I’m in the same boat. My brother bought rallyarmour ones but I don’t want to pay that much.

If you live in a rural area ask a farmer if they’ve got any spare cow mat, that’s all we use.
